Based on 486 reviewsLes Petits Pois is repeatedly praised for its exceptional French cuisine, which is noted for both its exquisite flavors and beautiful presentation. The restaurant offers a cozy, inviting atmosphere that blends chic modernity with a relaxed, friendly vibe, attracting both locals and visitors. Service quality is consistently highlighted as attentive and accommodating, often including helpful English-speaking staff. The wine selection also frequently receives positive mention, complementing the dining experience. While the venue is relatively small and popular enough to warrant advance booking, guests appreciate the authentic, non-touristy feel due to its location near the university, making it a highly recommended destination for those seeking an intimate yet memorable culinary outing in Paris.
This restaurant came highly recommended by our host whilst visiting the area. We were not disappointed. The staff spoke English which was helpful. The food was exquisite & beautifully presented The wine was really good, the atmosphere was relaxed & friendly. We did not book a table as we ate early but the restaurant soon filled up with locals, booking recommended if you prefer to eat a little later as it’s a popular place.
Very nice small restaurant located next to the university. While it may not be super fancy the food was great with tons of flavor. The ambience was inviting, and modern. The service was of high quality. I felt that because we were moving away from the touristy things closer to the river, we were able to get a bit more of a local feeling. Overall, nice spot and will definitely recommend.
My wife and I had a wonderful experience at dinner here. The atmosphere is perfect - cozy, inviting, chic, and all around well executed. The service was top notch, our server even translated the entire menu for us and continued the hospitality by being exceptionally attentive. The food was delicious, desirably unique, and reasonably priced. Cannot recommend enough.
The food, service and atmosphere are all exceptional. We had a wonderful dinner in this cozy little restaurant - highly recommend!
My husband and I absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was extraordinary and we enjoyed every bite! The wine list was amazing and we definitely tried a few! Aurélien and his team are so welcoming and helpful! We would recommend everyone come here while in Paris!!
A lovely dinner just across from the Jardin de Plantes and whimsical Cuvier fountain. The pea gazpacho was delicious, as was the Tataki Tuna.
Good refined food at a reasonable price. The portions are not too big, which allows for a 3 courses meal. The service was friendly. Cocktails and wine were good.
A lovely restaurant with a very welcoming owner, we were very lucky to get a table for a family of four on a Thursday night without a reservation, but the owner was very accommodating moving tables around to fit us. The food was incredibly good, a small menu but all the food was fresh and cooked absolutely perfectly. It looks like the menu changes regularly and serves seasonal produce. The service throughout the evening was outstanding with the owner taking the time to explain each dish to us in English (correcting our poor French and mistranslations) and helping us pick out a dish that our children would enjoy. The food was served quickly despite it being a busy service and they even brought two wines for us to sample to help us decode which to choose. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough but makes sure to make a reservation in advance.
